RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2023: Knowing the RBI Grade B exam pattern is a must for all candidates willing to appear for the RBI Grade B Examination. RBI conducts the RBI Grade B General Exam in three phases, i.e. Phase I, Phase II, and Interview round and in two phases for DEPR/DSIM i.e. online exam and interview. RBI Grade B Exam Pattern Phase I for General
- Phase I of the RBI Grade B exam will be conducted online in multiple shifts.
- The total marks for RBI Grade B Phase I examination is 200 marks.
- The duration of the examination is 120 minutes.
- Currently, there is no information on the marking scheme of phase I once the board updates we shall update the same.
- Candidates will get the time and venue of the examination in their admission Letter.
- The admission letter can be downloaded from the official website of RBI.
- Candidates have to secure minimum marks in each section to qualify for Phase II of the RBI Grade B examination.
- RBI will release a category-wise merit list based on marks obtained in the Preliminary examination.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern Phase 2 for General
The candidates have to qualify the Phase I of the RBI Grade B exam to appear for Phase II. RBI Grade B examination will consist of 3 papers. There are as follows:
- Economic and Social Issues
- Finance and Management
- English (Writing Skills)
Below is the Grade B Exam Pattern for the Main exam
- Phase II will consist of three papers.
- Paper I and III will be objective + descriptive in nature, whereas Paper-II will be descriptive in nature.
- The total marks for the RBI Grade B Phase II examination are 300 marks.
- The combined duration of the examination is 330 minutes.
- The exam conducting board will set the papers in both English and Hindi, except Paper 2 (English - Writing Skills) which will be in English only.
- Candidates will get the time and venue of the examination in their Admission Letter.

RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2023 - Interview Process
RBI will publish a category-wise merit list by combining the marks of three papers of the Phase II examination. The board will decide the minimum cut off marks for shortlisting for Phase III, which is an interview round.
- The exam conducting body will publish the list of names and roll numbers of the successful candidates of Phase II
- All the candidates will be informed separately of the date and time.
- The total marks for the interview round will be 75 marks.
- Candidates have the independence to select their interview language from English and Hindi.
RBI Grade B Exam Pattern 2023 - Final Selection
After conducting the interview round, RBI will publish the final merit list of candidates by combining the Phase II and interview round scores of the candidates. The final selection list will be published on the official website of RBI and the candidates will be informed separately by mail.
